With the advent of free blogging websites and less restrictions on the internet, it is now possible to find a plethora of information about any topic that you are looking for. The consumer could face legal action is they refill the cartridge, sell it to a third party refiller or recycling company, or simply throw it away and do not return it to the OEM. As you can see, this could lead to significant issues for the consumer who may simply be ignorant to the policy that Lexmark has in place.
In order to protect you from any lawsuits or other negatives, be sure to ask the sales representative prior to purchasing a product. If they say that you might face legal action if you do not perform certain tasks, and then be sure to find an alternative solution. Simply by reading inkjet reviews, you could have saved yourself from a potential lawsuit.
